What To Expect When You Return To The Hair Salon

Tomorrow marks the day when we are able to re-open which has been longwaited for many of you and us too!

As much as we would like, your visit to salon will not be as you remember it due to the changes we have made to keep you safe. To keep your visit running as smoothly as possible I thought I would write a quick blog to let you know what to expect. 1. Please wait to be signalled into salon to help us limit the number of people in the salon. Bring as few items as possible into salon and don't forget we are unable to serve refreshments at this time but feel free to bring your own. 2. You will be asked to sanitise your hands and shown to your treatment area where you will be asked to complete a new consultation form, patch test form (if needed) and a COVID declaration form. 3. In your treatment area you will find a bag of disposable items for you to wear during your visit which does include a face mask. Please put these items on and pop your belongings in the bag. 4. If you need to use the toilet feel free to do so, we have installed an automatic hand wash dispenser and disposable hand towels for your use. After you leave, we will fully sanitise the work area ready for the next client and we will be cleaning common areas regularly throughout the day along with a full clean of the salon at the end of the working day. Staff will be wearing PPE such as visor, gloves, aprons etc which are changed or sanitised between clients. Please remember that whilst we have always worked to high standard of hygiene, these new processes are completely new for us too and it may take us a little time to get used to them so we ask that you are patient with us. If you feel after your visit that there is something we could improve, please let us know as we are conducting regular reviews to ensure we are doing all we can. Thanks for reading and we can't wait to see you all. Kirsty x
