What a few days of mixed emotions

So as you probably know on Tuesday the government issued the next steps for reopening the country and I watched the announcement with eagerness. However it was definately a high followed by a low as the speach continued. Boris Johnson announced that hair salons could open which made my heart soar as at last it looked like we could try and resume some kind of normality, however not long after he stated that beauty salons were to remain closed which took the edge slightly off the joy of being able to open KV Hair.

Claire and I were reunited this week to ensure we had everything in place to be able to open KV Hair safely for both clients and the team and spent a day calling everyone on our cancellation list. What a job that was, it was so nice to speak to everyone and be able to look at the diary and see bookings.

With regards to KV Beauty, I have decided to take a positive from that as we are still to remain closed for the time being, it allows me to be around to assist Claire when we reopen the hair salon and see how our plans are coming together, ready to tweak immediately if we feel we need to and learn from anything that we feel could be improved ready for when Beauty is able to open.

We can't wait to start seeing customers again and hopefully we will be able to get back to doing beauty treatments as soon as possible.
